Dale is originally from Lynchburg, Virginia. He know lives outside of Raleigh in Pittsboro, North Carolina with his husband Robert and stepdaughter. Dale is currently working on getting his Political Science degree. His husband, Robert Navarro, works for Biogen Inc. and assists with grammatical and content editing.Shenetta Sims — Contributor
Shenetta is a Seattle based Virgina native who graduated cum laude from Old Dominion University. She has contributed voiceover work for “Into the Mainstream” – an art documentory – and spends her freetime collecting stories from native Seattlites. Patricia has 20 years of experience in the foreign and public policy arenas, on the development side, the policy making side, and the implementation of policy. Her experience includes 15 years at the Department of Defense, and includes close alignment with the U.S. State Department in executing foreign military sales. She has experience working with NATO and SHAPE, during her time living in Brussels, Belguim. While at AU, she worked on the Bush/Quayle reelection campaign. She holds a degree from the American University in Public Affairs and Government, as well as a degree in International Relations. She also holds an MBA from the University of San Diego and a Masters in Government and Commercial Contracts from Villanova.Michelle Durney-Croniser — Contributor
Michelle is a vocational Rehibilitation Counselor based out of Seattle, WA. Before marrying her husband, a marine, Michelle grew up in the D.C. area where she learned about the federal government and politics. After becoming a Marine Corps spouse, Michelle traveled the country until they settled in Raleigh, NC long enough to pursue a college education. At NC State University, she earned a bachelor of arts in psychology and a minor in gender studies. During her studies she interned at Planned Parenthood and co-led a Women to Women program that taught women about rape culture, objectification, and self-defense. After completing her studies the family moved to Okinawa where she completed her Masters in psychology. She co-facilitated an eating disorders group and developed a chronic pain support group. Upon moving back to the U.S. Michelle dove into public service working for the state of VA, serving individuals with disabilities. She is a strong advocate for people who are housing and food insecure, without medical insurance, and people who suffer from poverty.
